Tiger Lily was very happy to dress up for our Howloween Party. She loved being BatDog and was quite the "party animal". Tiger Lily is wonderful with other dogs, quiet in her crate and walks VERY nicely on her leash. She will take a treat from you very politely and waits her turn at the water bowl. Tiger Lily will do great with a family that has another dog - preferably a male.

We wanted to stop and pay tribute to one of our favorite Pups, Sir Avalon. He was one of Marie of Via Marie Studios beloved pets and had to be put to sleep in order to end his suffering (Bone Cancer). Those who are close to Marie know that he truly is one of her inspirations in this project.

Look for Sir Avalon on next month's Pinups for Pups with Miss November Kandie Caine. He also made it into this next years with Mellie Mel.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to Marie and her family in this time of loss, but we know his memory will live on and continue to inspire all of us. Rest in peace Sir Avalon, we will see you at the Rainbow Bridge…

Miss Tayva and Bono

Miss Tayva: the model, the graphic artist, the songstress, the multitasker. Basically, she's the "Jill" of all trades.

This statuesque, raven-haired Arizona native has been seen here, there and everywhere. Not only has her own photography and journalism been published about the world (she's even written her own book), but her image has also graced the pages of a multitude of kustom kulture publications, CD covers, calendars and the like.

Miss Tayva currently spends her time completely immersed in the world of music. Not only is she an enthusiastic collector of vintage rhythm and blues/rock n' roll 45s, LPs and 78s, but she spends her time working for England's celebrity piano player, blues shouter and her soon-to-be-husband, Mike Sanchez. In fact, she's due to set out to create her own musical project in the near future!

Sugar & Major "P" Pants

Jessica "Sugar" Kiper is a busy actress currently living in Los Angeles and originally hails from the Southern United States. Since moving to LA in 1998, she's appeared in several commercials, television shows, and movies. Fans may recognize her from her recurring role on "For Your Love" (on the WB), her role as 'Shane' on "Gilmore Girls", or her lead performance in "Formosa", an indpendent film movie set in the late 40's that has recently aired on both HBO and HBO 2. Currently Sugar is playing the role of Tammy in "Debbie Does Dallas: the Musical" at The Key Club on the Sunset Strip every Thursday during the month of August. One of 6 kids, Sugar has long been fascinated with vintage Pin-Up modeling and has always been a huge dog lover, and her favorite thing on Earth is her dog, Major P. Pants.

RIP Karl Gotch

...among his family and closest friends. Karl was a devoted husband, father, mentor, animal advocate, Holocaust concentration camp survivor, and one of the greatest Professional and Catch-As-Catch-Can Wrestlers in the 20th century, but Karl would have described himself as "just a kid from the waterfront". He would have been 83 years old in a few days....

He died in Tampa, Florida at 9:45pm EST on July 28th, 2007. Karl was fiercely independent and private and truly lived life on his own terms, ask anyone that knew him.Anyone seeking to pay their respects is encouraged to donate to animal rescue, in particular Pit Bull terrier rescue.

The Paw'd Squad Animal Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization and has already set up a rescue fund in Karl's name. All donations and contributions are tax deductible. These can be sent to:
